What happens if I have an accident or damage the vehicle?

All motoring accidents must be reported immediately to ourselves and dealt with in the standard way by taking all information if a third party is involved.

Any accidental damage to the vehicle whilst on hire should be reported immediately as it may jeopardise the following customer’s enjoyment therefore we would endeavour to rectify the issue on return.

Yes absolutely we give a very informative and full demonstration of all the motorhome facilities on collection.

There is also a full user guide supplied with the vehicle and we are available on the telephone to help with any issues to ensure safe departure, correct setup to help you enjoy your holiday.

Will my own electric appliances work in the motorhome i.e. hairdryer etc?

Whilst hooked up to any mains electric on a campsite you should have no problem with your small electrical appliances.

How many miles per gallon can I expect?

With normal use you can expect an average of 30 miles per gallon.

All vehicles are supplied with a full tank of diesel and the range is displayed on the instrument panel.

Do I have to stay on a campsite?

We always recommend that for your own safety that you stay on a campsite (most campsites require booking in advance especially in peak season due to demand).

Wild camping is prohibited in many areas so you will need to check any restrictions on parking, overnight parking and sleeping in vehicles.

It is advisable to check ahead if you are planning to stay overnight. Our staff can help advise further.

How long will the power last if not hooked up to mains electricity?

Our motorhomes run on a combination of the leisure battery and gas when not plugged into mains electricity.

The leisure battery is charged when the motor is running and also by a solar panel on the roof. Therefore if used sensibly this can last indefinitely without any problems.

The gas runs the cooker, the fridge, the central heating and hot water when not hooked up to mains electricity. Therefore depending on use/time of year you would be limited but there are two gas bottles which can be alternated for use and replaced.

If I change my mind after booking will I lose my deposit?

There are charges incurred for cancellations after a deposit has been paid. This depends on how close you are to your hire agreement commencement date. Please see all relevant details in our Terms & Conditions.

Do you allow smoking in the motorhome?

Smoking is strictly prohibited in all our vehicles and any evidence of smoking will incur a valet charge.

Is there somewhere safe to leave my car when I collect my motorhome?

Yes we do have a secured locked compound available for use by customers however we are not liable for any loss or damage incurred whilst left within the compound although we trust this facility with all our own vehicles.

Are there any hidden extras?
